Ranking the 5 Epic Universe Lands at Universal Orlando Resort in 2025

I finally stepped into the all-new Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort, and WOW …this park truly lives up to its name!

With five uniquely themed lands, breathtaking detail, and so many immersive experiences, it was tough to rank them.

But after lots of exploring, here’s how I’d personally rank the lands with the disclaimer that every single one is amazing and absolutely worth your time!

5. Celestial Park

This is the heart of Epic Universe and the first land you’ll experience as you walk in.

It’s beautifully designed with lush gardens, sparkling fountains, and celestial theming that feels otherworldly.

It sets the tone with peaceful vibes and is a lovely place to stroll, grab a bite, and enjoy the view. With fewer rides and more of a hub layout, it lands at number five on my list.

4. Super Nintendo World

As soon as you walk through the iconic green pipe, you’re in a video game.

This land brings the world of Mario and friends to life with color, energy, and non-stop fun.

Rides include:
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge — so fun and interactive
Donkey Kong Mine cart: madness skip the tracks and snag that golden banana
Yoshi’s Adventure: Perfect for all ages
Toadstool Cafe: Serves up adorable, themed bites

Plus, don’t miss the Power-Up Bands that turn the whole land into a playable game. It’s such a clever and creative touch.

3. How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk

Get ready to soar.

This land is bursting with charm and Viking energy.

Attractions include:
Hiccup’s Wing Gliders: a family coaster that lets you ride like a dragon
Fyre Drill: a fun splash battle ride
The Untrainable Dragon a stage show with incredible puppetry

And yes, you can meet beloved characters like Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless. The theming is spot-on and the whole area feels like it flew right out of the movie.

2. Dark Universe

This one surprised me in the best way.

It’s creepy, mysterious, and beautifully designed.

Rides:
Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment an intense dark ride that’s not for the faint of heart The eerie ambiance is perfectly executed, especially at night.
Curse of the werewolf: family friendly fear coaster The Burning Blade Tavern: offers some ghoulishly good bites. Those monster-themed snacks are a must-try.

The whole land feels like stepping into a gothic horror story and it’s done with style.

1. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic

This land took my breath away.

Set in the magical streets of Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films and branching into the British Ministry of Magic, it’s full of incredible detail and hidden magic.

Don’t miss:
Battle at the Ministry; a thrilling new ride with next-level effects Live performances from magical performers
Wand experiences: that make the streets come alive
Amazing eats at Le Cirque Arcanus: and other tucked-away spots

It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down and take it all in. Every window, every alley, every sound. The attention to detail is just stunning!

Final Thoughts...

Ranking these lands was nearly impossible because each one is spectacular in its own way.

Whether you’re zipping through Rainbow Road, flying with dragons, sipping wizarding drinks, or exploring eerie castles, Epic Universe delivers unforgettable experiences around every corner. I genuinely loved every inch of this park and I already can’t wait to go back.
