A few of my favorite things - Disneyland edition
One of the things I love about Disneyland is the fact that you can live your best theme park food life without a single reservation.
And I did just that last week and do i thought I’d share a few of my favorite things from the quick services around Disneyland resort with you!
I have a feeling this is gonna intrigue you and give you just another reason to think about giving a trip to Land a try!
Bengal Barbeque - Pork belly skewers
One of the classic places to grab a bite in Disneyland park has to be Bengal Barbeque.
And while it boasts many classic choices, my absolute favorite meal here is the pork belly skewers!
And i know you’re thinking….how can pork belly be prepared properly in a quick service theme park kitchen.
My answer for you…,it can and it’s magic, obviously! Perfectly crispy outside, intensely buttery and flavorful inside and topped with an absolutely fantastic sauce.
So scope out a table and mobile order yourself a double order.

Trader Sam’s - Waygu Hawaiian cheese burger
I know you when you think of Trader Sam’s you’re thinking cocktails, but hear me out.
While you’re stopping in for that signature cocktail you should really grab a Waygu Hawaiian cheese burger!
Grilled finely sliced pineapple, havarti cheese and a sweet and spicy special sauce makes this one of the most unique burgers I have had and you guys know In love a good burger!!
Jolly Holiday bakery - Bulgogi grilled cheese with kimchee aioli
There’s never a trip to Disneyland that I don’t stop in at Jolly Holiday bakery, ok confession, there’s not a trip that I don’t make multiple stops in Jolly Holiday bakery.
So when I saw everyone raving about this new menu item combo, I had to try it, for research, of course.
The Bulgogi grilled cheese with kimchee aioli paired with a creamy cheese and corn chowder was the seasonal sandwich combo for early November.
Boy oh boy does this one need to stick around! While this is not the classic tomato basil soup with grilled cheese, this combo was a fantastic burst of flavor and further proof that Disneyland’s quick service options cannot be beat!
Earl of Sandwich food truck - Holiday Sandwich
If I came up missing at Disneyland Resort, I can promise if you look near the Earl of Sandwich food truck in Downtown, I’ll most likely be there! Especially this season of the year!
My all time favorite sandwich is just waiting for me…the famous Holiday Sandwich! Did I leave my family at 9am and go hide and eat one of these? Yes?
Am I sorry? No! Think of Thanksgiving on toasted bread.
Comfort food on the go! And yes, I had more than one!
