We Previewed Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom With 3 Toddlers. Here’s What to Expect!
If you’re planning a Walt Disney World vacation with little ones, you’ll definitely want to add Bluey’s Wild World to your Animal Kingdom day! We recently had the opportunity to preview this adorable new experience with three very enthusiastic toddlers (ages 3, 2, and 16 months), and it was one of the highlights of our visit.
Here’s everything you need to know before you hop aboard the train!
First Things First… You’ll Need to Take the Train
Bluey’s Wild World is located at Conservation Station in Rafiki’s Planet Watch, so you’ll first board the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe. The train ride itself is part of the adventure and was a huge hit with our little crew. It gave everyone a chance to slow down and spot backstage animal care areas before arriving.
It’s Not a Meet & Greet… It’s a Playdate!
If you’re expecting a quick photo with Bluey and Bingo, think bigger! Bluey’s Wild World is a 12 to 15-minute interactive experience where kids are encouraged to jump, dance, laugh, and play right alongside Bluey and Bingo. Instead of waiting in line for a picture, families become part of the fun.
What Happens Inside?
Throughout the experience, a fun guide leads everyone through several games inspired by the show, including favorites like:
• Keepy Uppy
• Magic Asparagus
• Dancing and interactive movement games
• A magical bubble-filled grand finale
There’s plenty of room for kids to participate, and no one is expected to sit still. It’s energetic, engaging, and perfectly designed for preschool-aged children.
Don’t Skip the Rest of Conservation Station!
While we were there, Jumping Junction was still being soft tested, so we didn’t get to experience that portion ourselves. We’ll definitely be making another trip back soon because it looks like a fantastic addition for families!
Now fully open, Jumping Junction will give kids another fun place to play while discovering Australian animals like wallabies and kangaroos. Even without Jumping Junction, Conservation Station is worth exploring. You can watch Disney’s wildlife specialists at work, learn about animal conservation, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible care Disney provides for its animals.
Many guests head back to the main park after Bluey’s Wild World, but taking a little extra time to explore Conservation Station makes the train ride even more worthwhile.
Is It Good for Toddlers?
Absolutely!
Our 3-year-old, 2-year-old, and even our 16-month-old were completely engaged. There were no scary moments, no loud thrills, and plenty of opportunities for every age to participate in their own way. It felt less like an attraction and more like stepping into an episode of Bluey.
Travel with Carie’s Tip
Plan at least 45 minutes to an hour for the entire experience. Between riding the Wildlife Express Train, enjoying Bluey’s Wild World, visiting Jumping Junction, and exploring Conservation Station, this hidden corner of Animal Kingdom is well worth slowing down for.
Final Thoughts
Bluey’s Wild World is exactly what Animal Kingdom needed for families with younger children. It blends imaginative play, beloved characters, and Disney’s passion for animals into one memorable experience.
If you’re traveling with toddlers or preschoolers, don’t make the mistake of skipping Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Hop on the train, embrace the bubbles, play Keepy Uppy with Bluey and Bingo, and enjoy one of the sweetest family experiences in the park.
