Can You Guess My 4 Top Family Vacation Destinations?

With daylight savings time here and the warmer weather cautiously making its entrance, I can’t help thinking of summer and summer travel more specifically! And, this year it seems like the possibilities are endless! So I thought it would be fun to talk about my top 4 family destinations to get your brain thinking about warmer days ahead!

Walt Disney World

It’s no secret I have a super fandom for the Mouse, but you have to admit, it is the “IT” destination for families! Princess, pirates, classics, and new friends, Walt Disney World is undoubtedly always a top destination in the summer! Thrills and experiences that you can’t find anywhere else! Learning opportunities and so much exposure to different cultures, Disney parks are fun for the soul and the brain! While the parks are amazing places to explore, let’s not forget when planning here that the resorts are all dotted with unbelievable pools and you may not know it, but Disney has two themed water parks as well! That being said, this just means you have lots of fun and magical alternatives to keep cool in the central Florida heat! It’s a complete no brainer that Walt Disney World is on this list!

Nickelodeon Riviera Maya

Let’s venture a little further south for my next pick for a top summer destination to Cancun! Yes, Mexico, but more specifically, Nickelodeon Riviera Maya! Most of you know I have talked about this resort before, but I just can’t get enough of this tropical 90’s paradise! This all-inclusive resort seamlessly combines 90’s Nick nostalgia with the beauty of the Caribbean. And let’s not forget there is a water park onsite that is, you guessed it, included with your stay! When it comes to a carefree place to spend your summer vacay, this laid back all-inclusive ensure the only thing you’ll be thinking of during your stay is FUN!

Universal Orlando Resort

Next up, one of my favorite places ever is Universal Orlando Resort. I’ve touched on this before that when most folks are looking into Orlando travel, they often see Universal as a one day edition to their Disney trip. In my opinion, Universal is very deserving of its own full trip! Three parks in close proximity to each other with everything from seriously breathtaking water thrills, great food, immersive themes, and so much more, you can spend so much time here and never see or do the same thing twice! Meet a dinosaur, fly on a broom, or Hulk smash some serious coasters, there is literally fun for the whole family here!

Disney Cruise Line

You may be a little shocked by my very top pick for the best family summer vacation……seeing as how I have already mentioned Walt Disney World Resort, I bet I have you curious. It is no secret that Walt Disney World can sometimes make you want a vacation after the vacation with all of its magical experiences, but if your family craves the Disney magic, but needs a more relaxing escape, there is literally only one answer……Disney Cruise Line! Of all of the trips that my family has taken over the years, our Disney cruises being the favorite is something we can ALL agree on. Think ridiculous Disney magic meets a nearly all-inclusive type experience. You can choose low key days on the sea to swim with dolphins, visits to beautiful ports, and magical days at Castaway Cay! This is Disney’s most perfect vacation combination in ship form! I hope that my list has you in full vacation planning excitement mode! If you are traveling with family, these destinations are hard to top! There are lasting memories to be made every time your family is together and these are some of the best places I know to create those unforgettable memories together!
