At Pixar Pier in Disneyland.
This weekend while at Disneyland, we had a chance to stop by Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier for a wonderful lunch! This adorable and highly thematic locale is the perfect spot to grab some amazing small and large bites, cocktails, and their famous donuts all while enjoying the views and sounds of the pier at Disney’s California Adventure.
Before you even enter Lamplight your eyes are captured by the adorable details of this anchor eatery. Lamplight hosts breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and walk ins for drinks. We chose lunch when we visited so we could try a bigger variety of the menu. Once we were called in for our reservation, which are recommended and can be made 60 days ahead of time, Lamplight is an immediate feast for the eyes! Pixar sketches, sculptures, props, movie posters, amazingly detailed furnishings and everything Pixar you can imagine surrounds you! My favorite were the quotes on the walls and I even spotted my absolute favorite Toy Story Line on one of the walls! It’s definitely a very fun environment to rehash your park day experiences or plot your plan of attack for the evening out!
This wonderful lounge hosts lots of Pixar themed cocktails as it’s signature go to’s. The menu is delightfully illustrated in true Pixar style. From the 2319 to the Infinity Fizz there are no shortage of alcoholic and nonalcoholic concoctions!
The menu at lunch features both Bites (appetizers) and Bigger Bites (entrees) as well as a kid’s menu so the whole family can enjoy dining here! The quality of the dining experience here was amazing! We tried an appetizer and each an entree as well as the infamous donuts with chocolate hazelnut and raspberry pop rocks dipping sauces! My best hint…….combine these two sauces with your donuts, you will NOT be sorry!
It was really fun and fresh dining at a Pixar themed location! This is something I definitely feel is missing from World. I also love that the restaurant had different levels for dining and just grabbing a drink and small plates in different lounge areas. It makes it such a versatile location. It’s great for family meals AND still has space for just grabbing drinks for an adult only feel. Lamplight Lounge is without a doubt one of the must do’s when making a visit to Disney’s California Adventure! As Remy would say…..”If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.” And Lamplight is definitely where the good stuff is!
