My Experience at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
This year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was nothing short of
spook-tacular!
Held at Magic Kingdom, it was one of the best Halloween
events I’ve attended, and I’m thrilled to share my experience. Being a
lover of Halloween, I was so excited to get to this event and I had
made it up in my mind I was going to close it down....but could I?
Much-Improved Snack Offerings
One of the first things I noticed was how much the snack offerings
have improved. From delicious, themed treats to a wide variety of
options, there was something for every sweet tooth and savory lover
alike.
The attention to detail in the presentation and flavor was
impressive, making snack breaks a real treat in themselves. This night
I tried the buffalo chicken hand pie, the spicy pork spring rolls, the
chocolate caramel tart, and the hot honey chicken and olives with
sweet potato fries. Each one had a unique flavor and was a very solid
snack choice.
Unlike parties before I was not walking around starving
or just eating candy because all the quick service restaurants were
limited. So definitely a step up from the past in my opinion.
Fun Highlights Throughout the Night
The party was packed with fun experiences that kept me entertained
from start to finish. From the lively “Boo-to-You” Parade to the
eerie, yet beautiful, fireworks show, there were so many magical
moments.
The character appearances, in their special Halloween
costumes, were a real treat. And who could forget trick-or-treating
through the park? It brought out the kid in everyone!
But of course, Boo-to-You was my favorite! This parade brings all of
the thigs I love about this event together in one place! Grave
diggers, pirates, spooky dancers, villains and some of my favorite
characters! I loved it so much, I watched both showings!
Low Lines – A Dream Come True
Another highlight of the evening was the surprisingly low wait times
for attractions and character meet-and-greets. I was able to
experience all my favorite rides with minimal waiting, which made the
night even more magical. It was great to enjoy the event without
feeling rushed or stuck in long lines. In times past I had really felt
as if the parties were overcrowded making for long lines and loss of
time, but in the instance even Seven Dwarfs Mine Train peaked at a 30
minute wait! Score!
Stayed Until the Very End
For the first time in a while, I stayed until the very end of the
event.
The energy and excitement of the night made it impossible to
leave early. Even as the clock struck midnight, the Halloween magic
was still alive. Walking down Main Street U.S.A., with the spooky
decorations and lights, was the perfect way to end the evening.
My
bestie Jen and I, even being grannies lol we able to shut the park
down and enjoy a full night of spooky fun!
Overall, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was a night filled
with unforgettable memories. Whether it’s the improved snacks, the low
lines, or the enchanting entertainment,
I’d highly recommend
experiencing this event if you get the chance!
