On the list of “Must Do” Disney restaurants, Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is no doubt near the very top! If you’re looking for a hearty, casual dinner with a “whole can” of fun….this is the place!
From the decor to the amazing menu, this is no doubt one of my favorite places for table dining. They also have a walk up window for those that just want to grab some ice cream as well that does not require reservation. But, if you’re coming to take in the famous kitchen sink, you will need a reservation!
The newly expanded location remains located on the side of Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club and looks amazing following its update! Still looking much like the soda shops of old with adorable and whimsical ice cream themed Disney art sprinkled on each wall! We sat kitchen side on this visit which I love because I was able to watch our “Kitchen Sink” be fully constructed!
Beaches and Cream has such a lighthearted atmosphere perfect for all ages. I particularly love when someone orders the Kitchen Sink and their server brings it to their table with swirling lights and a hilarious announcement that gets the whole restaurant involved! Of course after our dinner we had to take in that famous dessert! Over 21,000 calories of ice cream, brownies, cakes, and all the toppings you can imagine……including a “whole can” of whopped cream! After those amazing burgers and sandwiches though we tried, we could not fully conquer this massive ice cream sundae!
Overall I can say there is not a group of folks that I would not suggest a visit to Beaches for! It is fun, yummy, and who doesn’t love massive amounts of ice cream and sugar! Definitely one of my top suggestions for casual table dining for a leisurely evening in the Boardwalk area!
