You guys know that I am a Disney die hard. I believe in their service level and I rarely love it when I venture out to travel outside of a Disney type trip. But, today, I’m about to blow your mind. Because mine was completely blown when I stepped onboard the Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas, currently the world’s largest cruise ship!
The Wonder of the Seas is now at Port Canaveral and will be doing 7 Night both Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries year round, which might I add, involves a stop at Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Royal’s exclusive private island in the Bahamas. And that, my friends, is a blog in the coming weeks. Its Port Canaveral home makes this beauty easy to access for most east coasters and beyond!
This ship is nothing short of stunning. 18 total decks of fun! With a capacity of over 7000 guests and is cared for by over 2200 International Crew! Over 20 eateries, 11 bars and lounges, specialized kids and teens areas, and more things to experience than ever on these 7 night experiences. I’ll never be able to give you every detail of this ship in one blog, but I do want to highlight a few of my favorites.
The Boardwalk area
This is like Coney Island for kids of all ages! I absolutely love that there is a full sized carousel in this area and at the Boardwalk Dog House you can grab a hot dog to munch while you stroll!
The Solarium
This adults only section is the queen of adult only areas in my book! Located at the end of the ship, the views alone make this spectacular. Add in pools, hot tubs, cascading lagoons, and whirlpools; I am certain you will never want to leave!
The Aquatheater
Here we watched inTENse: Maximum Performance. With an all female cast of divers, dancers, and martial artists this show was visually stunning and complete entertainment for all ages!
My overall impression of this ship is complete amazement! I was thrilled to experience her Inaugural sailing and all I can say is that I will be back to further explore and experience more aboard this beautiful girl! Royal has every aspect of relaxation, vacation, thrills, and chills, covered on Wonder of the Seas. Whether you are looking for an adult or family experience, rest assured this checks all the boxes with style like none other! I cannot wait to come back for more!
