Finally! After over a week of torturous waiting, we were able to go see Wreck-It-Ralph 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet. We were super excited to finally get this sequel because we absolutely adore Ralph and Vanellope!

If you have not seen it yet, I certainly will not spoil it for you. The movie starts back at the old Arcade with Ralph and Vanellope, the best of friends, hanging out and enjoying their status quo until Vanellope’s game is broken and the pair has to find a solution for Vanellope and the rest of her Sugar Rush counterparts or they could become “homeless”….or “gameless” as it were.

The rest is a wild adventure throughout the internet.

While of course, I love the animated films, I feel like this one still reaches those adults that may not be into spending 2 hours in a theater watching a cartoon. I loved that they had lots of pop culture references to keep the adults engaged, while keeping the story very involving for the kiddos. Throwbacks to all those games us old folks liked to play back in the day like Q-bert, Pac-man, Sonic, and many others was a nice way to bring a smile to some mom and dad faces!

The famously promoted Disney Princess scene was so neat!

All that attention to Disney detail with the princesses and their jammies, their responses, their overall interaction in the story was really amazing! It truly brought out the details in each of them and was the highlight of the film for me! And most of you know, that I am generally not a princess type of girl.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is DEFINITELY a must see! It was fun and colorful and had some really important lessons for kids, especially about learning to be a good friend and learning confidence. I thought the message was delivered very well and is much-needed in this day and age!

We are excited to say that we are now only 13 days away from our upcoming trip and I plan to pay a visit to Ralph and Vanellope in Epcot as they greet guests! I am so excited to snag a photo-op of two of our beloved favorites!
