Splurge Worthy Disney Experiences That Dreams Are Made Of.
Let’s face it Disney is expensive! But you can do it on a budget for sure. However, this week I am tossing budget completely out the window! I want to share with you some of the things you can do on property that I consider splurge worthy experiences! This may give you some ideas on how to celebrate a special occasion, or just give you another item to add to that Disney bucket list! Either way, here we go!
I still stand by this as one of my all time favorite Disney experiences and one that will always be “splurge worthy” in my book! Whether you are celebrating a milestone or just having a girls trip, you can enjoy with with up to 10 guests total! So instead of enjoying those fireworks with 67k of your closet friends, it’s more like 9! Definitely more appealing and super VIP if you ask me! Here’s how Disney describes the experience!
From the comfort of a chartered boat, your party can set sail for International Gateway near World Showcase Lagoon to watch the skies light up over EPCOT. Or, embark on the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake near Magic Kingdom park—with synchronized audio onboard to fully immerse you in the moment. What’s Included ups may ask? Each cruise is accompanied by a captain and includes assorted snacks and soft drinks. Festive banners and balloons are also included in the cost and can be requested at the time of booking.
These specialty cruises are priced around $449 but pricing can vary by date. And if you are divide the cost up with friends, it makes this less of a splurge and more like a no brainer, must do!
While quickly glancing this may seem like a serious splurge, but if the cards are played right, this could be a huge value depending on how your travel party like to vacation. What is Club Level and is it worth the extra cost nightly? Well, here’s what it is all about and you can be the judge!

If you are light eaters that like to enjoy some resort time during your stay this may give you the most bang for that Disney buck. But if splurging, it is definitely worth the amazing services and amenities at any of Disney’s deluxe properties offering the Club Level experience!
What’s with me and crowd avoidance?
Seems to be the theme on this
splurge as well. While viewing the fireworks in the park is magical
and amazing, there is something about watching them from the
convenience of your resort room in your jammies, and not having to
navigate the crowds to get back to your room. I call that real magic!
It’s no secret that these fireworks view or theme park view rooms are
more pricey than most, this advantage just adds that extra level of
swank to your vacation. Or maybe it’s not the swank….maybe it’s that
you have little ones that aren’t a fan of the up close and personal
noise of the fireworks, viewing from your room gives you the option to
pipe the music into your room and watch with minimal startling noise!
Maybe some in your party are crashed out and others are night owls,
then you can all get the best of both world’s in this scenario. No
matter which way you look at it, I am calling this one splurge worthy
for sure!
The title itself screams splurge, but VIP tours cost some serious cash, but can be one of the best experiences of your life! Imagine the red carpet being rolled out for you at every park, at every attraction, all day, at your request. Think it’s a dream? Nope, it’s the magic of having a “plaid” giving you a tour of Walt Disney World Resort. Here is a list of some of the personalized inclusions from Disney’s website.

Now, for all these amazingly magical inclusions you are looking at costs ranging from $450 to upwards of $900 per hour depending on the demand of the season/day. And a minimum of 7 hours is required to book. And if you are wondering how exclusive this is? Your tour can only include up to 10 total of your specified guests! These are great options for getting all the high points handled quickly and if you are splitting with friends or family, it might take a bit of the sting away from the price tag! But a worthy magical experience indeed!
I know, I know a simple ride shouldn’t be considered a splurge….but this is no ordinary ride, it’s a Minnie Van! Now while the cost of a minivan ride may not stack up to these other experiences, considering all other Disney transportation is free I must add it to the list. You have to have to have to get a Minnie Van at least once in your travels! The service, easily accessible car seats, the best driving music, the cleanest vehicles, and not to mention is it one of the only private rides that gets you dropped of AT Magic Kingdom! And if you have ever tried to Uber to MK, then you will surely appreciate that fact alone! So while this may not be a splurge to some, you should consider spending the extra just once even to pull up in the sassiest vehicle on property!
