Why the time is NOW to plan you FALL/WINTER Disney World vacation

Planning a family visit to the Walt Disney World Resort often proves vast and overwhelming to newbies and at times even to seasoned veteran visitors as well. While Disney is that magical place that transports you light years from reality…..the hard truth is, planning well in advance is key to a stress free experience for you and your travel party before and during your stay. I often joke with folks that contact me for planning services and say, “All magic is carefully planned, at least 180 days in advance.” And while this evokes a hearty chuckle, this is indeed my best advice!

While my goal is to not over schedule, or make your trip feel rigorous. The goal of my pre-planning is to help you get the experiences you are wishing for and maximize your time during your stay! While this is the common theme for year round Disney planning. I feel this year in particular, it is so key to get your planning underway as soon as possible! With the impending opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, I really feel that securing your resort stay well ahead of time is essential. While I don’t feel all four parks as a whole will be terribly overloaded with folks, I do feel that inventory for resort stays is already slim for the fall and winter seasons of 2019. I feel most of the crowds will be focused on Galaxy’s Edge, but that still means more folks staying at the Walt Disney World Resort, leading to limited availability for accommodations. That being said, if you have dreams of celebrating the holidays at WDW in 2019 and beyond……the time to secure your resort stay is NOW!

Aside from getting that resort stay secured, getting those highly sought after dining reservations and fast-pass selections are key to a magical itinerary! I know your little ones dream of makeovers at Bibbity Boppity Boutique, riding Slinky Dog Dash, or dancing with Vampirina at Disney Jr’s new dance party……if you fail to plan in advance, it could mean that these experiences will already be fully booked. Enchanting extras like BBB or Pirates League and dining reservations are available for booking 180 days in advance of your stay!!! Fast-passes at 60 days!!! These are super important dates on the Disney timeline. While you can still plan a last minute visit to WDW, it does prove quite challenging to secure these experiences at the desired days and times.

Planning well in advance of your stay also gives you another advantage in this Disney game……..tons of time to pay!

Most folks may not realize that it only takes $200 to secure a Walt Disney World Resort package! And guess what…..you have until 30 days prior to your travel date to pay in full! Most times when I tell clients this they are both shocked and relieved! This is the magic formula that can make that Disney dream a reality for tons of families! With packages to fit every budget, this is a win win situation!

Again, it is always my goal to provide each of my families with memories to last a lifetime! Through every step of your planning, I am there to provide you with essential information, help you make informed choices, and to create the itinerary that fits your family best. The key to get all your top choices in resort, dining, fast-passes, and enchanting experiences is to be ready ahead of time! Being informed and prepared cuts down on chaos and confusion therefore making for a more relaxing environment to cultivate those lasting family moments. It is so important to me to make your family’s dreams come true!
