What is the NUMBER ONE reason YOU go to Disney???

I know we all have our reasons for making the pilgrimage to Walt Disney World, some once in a lifetime, others once yearly, and then there’s us……. No matter how many times you go, there is one central theme behind the choice to visit……

Experiencing the magic together

Once or one hundred times over, a trip to Walt Disney World is something you will not soon forget. It’s not about how elaborate the resort you stay in is, how fancy your meals are, it’s about the moments spent together as family. Experiencing the magic together and remembering it always.

MEMORIES LAST FOREVER

I have planned trips for hundreds of families now and as silly as it may sound, I always thank them for allowing me to be a small part of their family memories.  I can truthfully say that a huge part of my memories of my own little family revolve around times spent at Disney. Most of you have heard me say, the most valuable things we own are our memories and this could not be more true.

MEMORY MAKER

I do look back however, on early trips that we took to Disney and usually Gary or myself as notably absent from the photos being the one behind the camera.  This is why I wanted to take some time to blog about my favorite thing I have at Disney every time we go………MEMORY MAKER! Like I mentioned before, you don’t have to stay in the fanciest of accommodations, or dine at the finest restaurants Disney has to offer, but you do have to preserve those memories!

Memory maker was created several years ago and is not a new thing at Walt Disney World, but ever since it came on the scene it has been a staple for me and I always suggest it to my clients. Memory maker is the photo-pass system that Disney uses to capture photos during your stay. This is linked to your magic band so once a photo is taken, you simply scan you band and the photo will appear shortly on your My Disney Experience App. These shots are both posed and candid, on rides and in character meet and greets, so many great opportunities throughout the resort as a whole!   Everyone can be in the picture, everyone is included, and sometimes there is even a bit of extra magic slipped in with those memories!

MAGIC SHOTS

Speaking of extra magic, let’s talk about those magic shots! These “magical shots” are gaining more and more popularity! You may be asked to hold your hand out and look at it in disbelief while standing in front of the castle……check that My Disney Experience and Tink herself is sitting right in the palm of your hand! You may be asked to look hold an arm up to the sky…….check that App……BALLOONS appear!! Disney always finds a way to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust in everything they do and these magic shots are no exception. There are also limited time magic shots at special events throughout the year such as Festivals in Epcot, Celebrations in Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and of course Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! There are so many great opportunities to take advantage of this photography pixie dust!

I get so much joy when my families start sending me photos from their trips. Most folks are shocked at the amount of photos they get! For $169 (pre visit purchase price) you get unlimited downloading, printing and the rights to the photos taken during your stay. You have 30 days after you activate your photos to get them downloaded, so no pressure while you are enjoying your stay! In all honesty I think this is the best add on to any Walt Disney World package!

Overall, we all know that family trips, especially those to the Walt Disney World Resort are times and moments we all want to cherish for years to come. Memories are the threads that tie our lives together, and this is one amazing way to keep them forever! I encourage you to check our Memory Maker and just imagine the possibilities, the smiles, the unforgettable moments. Cherish the MEMORIES!
