While Disney Springs is famed for its eateries boasting famous chefs,
let’s not forget that there are tons of amazing quick service options
here that are a pleasant surprise for the tastebuds! In addition, a
quick service option in Springs is a faster way to grab a bite when
you are there to do some serious shopping! This week we did just that.
We made our way to Polite Pig for a quick but quality meal and I
wanted to share my trip thoughts on this eatery in the heart of Disney
Springs.

We sat at the bar within 10 minutes (no mobile ordering available) and
ordered the BBQ meatballs, crispy Brussels sprouts, and Mac n cheese of
course. The Brussels were prepared with a whiskey caramel
sauce, yes you read that correctly! These are no ordinary vegetable
sides by any stretch of the imagination! Unbelievable depth of flavor
here! Aged cheddar and perfectly toasted bread crumbs highlight this
stretchy, cheesy, goodness of the Mac n cheese, while brisket and
sweet BBQ sauce meatballs dance on top of cheddar grits and crispy
onion strings! The flavors are literally off the map!

If you are looking for a heavy-duty flavor-packed meal on the go that
can also accommodate kids, then you’ve found it here! Fries, chicken
tenders, and that gooey Mac n cheese keep the kiddos happy as well!
This menu is a full-on people pleaser!

Gary tried the RYE flight, and in his opinion, he suggested the
following pairings: the Michers’ pairs best meatballs, Brussels
sprouts compliment the Bulleit and the Whistle Pig perfectly
highlights the Mac n cheese! Seems like from his point of view, the
Rye Flight is perfect for the menu items we chose to sample….go
figure.

Heads up, this food is super rich, so be prepared to leave full! And
a happy night I add. Of all the fast choices in Springs, Polite Pig has
jumped to the top of my list if you are looking for a super hearty
meal with unbelievable compliments from both the bar and kitchen! This
is a win-win choice! Our meal was $54.24 not including tips and even
though seriously budget-friendly, we left super full and content with
a meal that left us in awwww! And they got the good ice.

I am so glad we had a chance to try this famed quick service location
and cannot wait to eat here again. There is no doubt If you don’t
score a dining reservation in Disney Springs that you are out of luck.
