TWC- WDW Animal Kingdom-2025

Should You Skip Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2025? Here’s Why You Might!

While I am not a fan of park skipping when making a trip to Disney, I am going to give you my unpopular opinion right now on why I think you can justify it right now…..well sort of!

If you are planning to visit Walt Disney World in the near future. Let me explain…

There is so much to do in every Disney park that I honestly feel like you need a full day for each when planning a trip. This has been my philosophy for sometime.

We all even held it together with the continuously changing wall mazes at Epcot for all those years, right. But, with folks doing shorter trips these days and with the heavy amount of construction and refurbishment going on, I feel like now Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the park we can “leave out” for now….or at least just go over to see Bakso and then ditch!

Avatar is fantastic and we all love a safari, but right now I feel like newbies can safely eliminate this park from their schedule or make it a true half day park as some have done for a long time. While I wasn’t in agreement with this before, with the recent closure of Dinoland and It’s Tough to Be a Bug and the huge overhaul taking place in the park, I can get onboard with this.

Back to Bakso, he is definitely worth a morning trek to the park. I mean, baby tiger people, what more could we want?!?!? But a full day cannot be justified for DAK in my mind these days. So while we throw all our love on the new baby tiger, I think we can also start getting excited for the future of DAK and what’s to come.

And on March 14th, It’s Tough to Be a Bug Officially closed it’s creepy crawly doors. Im hoping there is something magical in store of the beautiful tree of life!

As always, we will keep you updated on the construction and all the official announcements on DAK’s evolution! I’m so excited for what is to come! I hope you are too!

“Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” Show

The Tree of Life Theater will debut this new show in Winter 2025, replacing “It’s Tough to Be a Bug!” Guests will journey through various biomes from the “Zootopia” film.

• Indiana Jones Adventure

An all-new Indiana Jones attraction will take over the current DINOSAUR ride. Follow Indy into a recently discovered Maya temple rumored to house a mythical creature.
