Most of us have Disney goals or Disney bucket list items that we dream of checking off. I know I am always checking off things, then adding more. This may or may not be on your list…..and if it’s not, for my ladies, it should be! It’s the ultimate way to recharge and let loose. I’m talking about why you MUST plan a Girl’s Trip to Disney! Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing like going to Disney with your children or family. Seeing the magic of Disney thru the eyes of the ones you love most is nothing short of amazing, but hitting Main Street with your gal pals is an entirely different perspective on Disney!
My first reason goes without saying. Getting an escape from the real world and a break from being the one handling things with kids, pets, jobs, activities, etc. There is really no better place to get away from the typical day-to-day than Walt Disney World. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or a career woman, we all need some downtime away from the cares of life! Escaping to the magic of Disney is a whole new spin on time out!
Like I mentioned before, it is literally magical to see Disney thru the eyes of our children and families, but if you are enjoying Disney on a girl’s trip, you can take that time to act like a kid again and appreciate that magic firsthand. Lose your cares in the wonder of it all and relive the amazement of childhood! Throw on your Minnie ears, grab a balloon, and off you go! After all, growing up is no fun anyway!
Tear up those schedules and turn off your morning alarms…….a Girl’s trip is an amazing reason to throw caution to the wind and go with the flow! If you want to sleep till noon, have coffee on your balcony, head to the park just for dinner, spend all day lounging by the pool and having drinks or hop from one amazing Disney lounge to the next….YOU CAN! People may say that you can’t relax at Disney….but I truly disagree, especially when you ditch the itinerary and literally just enjoy your time with your friends without being tied to a set schedule!
Next up on my list is Festival Season….as an adult!!!!! Any one of the four Epcot International Festivals will do! Enjoying beautiful art, stunning topiaries, Boyz II Men concerts, or spiked hot chocolate, all of Epcot’s spectacular festivals are some serious grown-up fun! With your besties, festivals cannot get any better! It’s one of my favorite things to enjoy festival food booths, sharing treats and drinks with my girls! You can take your time strolling around enjoying art exhibits and your favorite wine and not feel the need to run to get in line for a ride. Taking in festival season with your girl crew in tow is the ultimate girls’ night out…. Disney style!
Time with your pals is a top priority! Spending quality time connecting with your best friends in the most magical place on Earth with only fun distractions can be some of the most soul-soothing times you’ll ever have! In the day-to-day, we don’t always get to spend time with our friends. Disney is the perfect place to bond with friends, share amazing experiences, great food, yummy drinks, and no shortage of laughs! If you ever get a chance to plan a girls’ trip, don’t pass up the opportunity to get that bonding time with your crew! It will recharge you like no other getaway!
There are so many more reasons to make time for a girls-only trip to Disney. Have plans or no plans. Sleep til noon or park hop until you drop. Eat cupcakes for breakfast and stay up late…..the choice is yours! So, grab your friends and your calendars, and let’s plan the ultimate gal pal trip together!
